Install Productivity Engineer (IMP)

About the role

The Install Productivity Engineer (IMP) supports Applied Materials’ global equipment installation strategy, driving efficiency and quality across semiconductor and display manufacturing sites. The role blends technical installation expertise with process improvement, digital tool adoption, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Review and drive new procedures and Best‑Known Methods for product installation.
• Coordinate installation and work spending, driving data‑driven improvement across the business unit.
• Lead design‑for‑installation initiatives for new products and partner with Quality & Reliability to address top field issues.
• Implement and adopt digital tools and AI for predictive planning and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Knowledge and experience in the discipline with ongoing development of higher‑level skills.
• Ability to solve straightforward problems using standard procedures and moderate guidance.
• Strong understanding of business drivers and ability to communicate value to executives.

What we offer

• Salary range: $108,000 – $148,500 per year.
