Inside Sales Specialist

About the role

Core & Main is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support its nationwide water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection distribution business. You will manage the full sales cycle, from quote requests to order fulfillment, while building strong relationships with customers across municipal, commercial and residential markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify upsell opportunities and assist customers throughout the sales process.
• Process and track customer orders and quote requests received via phone, email and online portals.
• Maintain accurate records in inventory and order management systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and develop long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Proven success working directly with customers.
• Experience with inventory sales or order management systems.
• Background in industrial distribution or construction‑supply environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and flexibility to assist where needed.
