Inside Sales Representative - Water Treatment Services

About the role

Envirogen Technologies, a water treatment and process filtration company, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to grow its DI tank exchange business in the Memphis area. The role is remote, with a temporary contract that offers a path to full-time employment. The base salary is $62,000 plus commission, and full training on the services and applications starts on day one.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the DI tank exchange services and the customers and markets they serve.
• Generate new service opportunities through outbound calls, video meetings and email.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and turn them and quotes into signed agreements and repeat business.
• Understand each customer's water treatment needs and recommend the right service.
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing industrial accounts and grow existing accounts.
• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in the CRM system.
• Partner with the Memphis operations and field service teams to deliver a good customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B sales, ideally of industrial, technical or service-based products, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Comfortable building relationships and growing accounts by phone and video, and confident negotiating.
• Self-motivated, able to handle several opportunities at once and to learn technical services and explain them clearly.
• High school diploma or GED; further education in a technical or business field is a plus.
• A valid U.S. driver's license (required).
