Business Development Manager - Industrial Water Treatment

About the role

Envirogen is looking for a Technical Sales Representative / Business Development Manager to own and grow its industrial water treatment business in the Memphis, Tennessee region. The role is remote, pays USD 90,000 to 115,000, and covers the full sales cycle from cold outreach to contract close.

Key responsibilities

• Hunt new business across industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, laboratories and commercial operations.
• Evaluate customer operations, identify water challenges and pitch high-value, cost-saving water treatment solutions.
• Deliver technical proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Nurture existing accounts to upsell and cross-sell.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Ideal background in industrial, manufacturing or capital equipment sales, water treatment or environmental services, process systems or chemical sales, or technical, engineering or scientific product sales.
• Proven track record of hunting new business and hitting sales quotas.
• Self-motivated, able to manage a large geographic territory independently.
