Infusion Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a full‑time Infusion Registered Nurse to join the Chabert unit. The RN will lead patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold the highest standards of professional practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process, ensuring quality outcomes.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide appropriate education.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and manage nursing resources.
• Promote cultural, ethnic, and religious sensitivity in all interactions.
• Participate in unit and department strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, self‑direction, and strong organizational skills.
