Infrastructure / Systems Administration

About the role

CACI is hiring a full-time Infrastructure / Systems Administration professional in Sarasota to join a mission-driven IT team supporting both unclassified and classified environments. The role involves hands-on work with modern infrastructure, solving complex technical challenges and helping users get reliable, secure systems. It requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and up to 25% travel outside the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Image, configure and deploy physical and virtual desktops, and troubleshoot and repair hardware such as desktops, laptops, zero clients, monitors and docking stations.
• Manage operating systems, BIOS settings, disk encryption and data protection.
• Install, update and troubleshoot end-user applications and certificates, and restore and migrate user data.
• Document work in ticketing systems while meeting SLAs.
• Patch network ports, trace cabling, help install network switches, patch Linux systems and troubleshoot Linux issues.
• Run Nessus vulnerability scans and remediate findings.
• Configure multifunction printers, coordinate vendor replacements and support user moves including computers, phones and network connectivity.
• Work with remote teams and other IT teams, and provide support across unclassified and classified systems.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years in a related IT role.
• Current Security+ certification.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong time management and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows desktop operating systems and Dell hardware.
• Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and general end-user support.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Desired: Linux training or hands-on Linux experience.
