Influencer Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Specialist, Influencer Marketing is a team support role within The Home Depot's Influencer Marketing function. It supports in-house and agency-led program management and execution, including identifying potential influencers, building internal and external materials and presentations, monitoring and reporting on influencer activity, and working with internal and agency teams on program logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Research new influencers, vendors and partners, stay current on partner channels, programs and content, and contribute to competitive benchmarking and trend analysis
• Help educate internal and external stakeholders about Influencer Marketing
• Assist in deploying Influencer Marketing programs and campaigns, ensuring deliverables are met on time and on budget
• Compile first drafts of presentations, partner materials and influencer communications under the oversight of the Manager and Project Manager
• Work closely with the Influencer Marketing team, Affiliate team and Media Partnerships and Social Media teams
• Use Influencer Marketing and Affiliate Marketing campaign management and measurement tools, and work with agency partners and analytics and marketing finance teams to collect and aggregate campaign reporting and make optimization recommendations

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience and a minimum of 3 years of work experience
• Preferred: passion for social media personalities and blogs, and experience vetting and communicating with social influencers
• Preferred: knowledge of online marketing, advertising and ecommerce

Required skills

• Strong understanding of marketing, social media ecosystems, influencer and affiliate marketing
• Deep knowledge of online community platforms and influencer marketing measurement technology
• Preferred: social media platform management and social publishing software
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, project management and prioritization skills
