Independently Licensed Outpatient Therapist

About the role

Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+), a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, is hiring a full-time independently licensed outpatient therapist in Las Cruces. The therapist provides therapy to adults, adolescents, children and families, working within a multidisciplinary, integrated behavioral health approach that covers everything from basic resources to crisis intervention. The role reports to the Program Manager and is salaried and exempt.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and prepare written reports
• Provide therapy aligned with client goals using evidence-based, trauma-responsive approaches
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic client care
• Contribute to a collaborative, person-centered, community-based care model

Required profile

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field
• Current independent New Mexico state license (LPCC, LMFT or LCSW) in good standing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and non-traditional hours

• Understanding of HIPAA privacy requirements

What we offer
