Independent Contractor Occupational Therapist – Austin

About the role

AIM (Assessment Intervention Management) seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide school‑based OT services across multiple campuses in Austin. This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexibility to manage your own caseload while leveraging AIM’s proprietary technology and clinical community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services in schools in line with district models.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local funding requirements.
• Provide clinical supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants when engaged.
• Develop and present in‑service training for staff and families.
• Support students with physical disabilities, including lifting, transferring, and positioning.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and an active Texas OT license in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to travel to multiple campus locations and meet physical demands such as standing, stooping, bending, reaching, heavy lifting, and moderate carrying.
