Income Tax Accountant – Corporate Tax Specialist

About the role

As an Income Tax Accountant you will be a key contributor to Bosch's North American tax operations, handling complex corporate tax compliance, technology initiatives, and multi‑state consolidated filings. You will bridge tax compliance with financial reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Federal and State consolidated and separate tax returns.
• Manage estimated Federal and State tax payments.
• Assist with annual Federal/State tax provision, deferred tax accounts, and related financial statement disclosures.
• Handle special M‑1 adjustments such as UNICAP, LIFO, and Fixed Assets.
• Perform tax forecasting and support tax technology implementations.
• Assist with IRS audits and provide technical research and analysis.
• Support tax managers across all compliance functions and interact professionally with business units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate income tax compliance or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and IFRS accounting principles.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and corporate tax software (e.g., Corptax, OneSource).
• Experience with Federal and multi‑state tax filings for large, complex entities.
• Preferred: CPA license or candidacy, Master’s in Taxation, experience in a multinational manufacturing or technology firm, and advanced SAP expertise.
