Incentives Analyst (Operations Analyst)

About the role

MicroStrategy is looking for an Incentives Analyst (Operations Analyst) to support compensation programs and commission plans so they stay aligned with the organization's strategy and operations. The role combines analytical work with administrative tasks and is hybrid: on site at the Tysons Corner office Monday to Thursday, remote on Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the sales compensation process, including calculating, validating and processing monthly and quarterly commission payouts according to approved plans.
• Maintain data integrity across Salesforce, Xactly and Workday by reconciling commission, employee and sales data, and partner with Human Resources on system setup and maintenance.
• Work with Sales Leadership and Operations to set and distribute sales quotas, support annual compensation plan rollouts and help design plans, configure systems, train users and document processes.
• Generate, analyze and present reports on commissions, sales performance, forecasting, pricing, margins and other operational metrics.
• Support Worldwide Sales & Services with analysis of bookings, order processing, selling trends and business performance.
• Build partnerships with Sales, Consulting, HR, Finance and Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Operations, Business Analytics, Finance, Revenue Operations or a similar analytical role.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of operational and financial reporting.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
• Experience with Xactly or a similar incentive compensation platform is preferred.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a plus.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology environment is a plus.

What we offer

• Base salary range of $66,400 to $119,600.
