Inbound Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Inbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the timely movement of inbound frozen seafood shipments from global origins to U.S. warehouses. This role ensures compliance with FDA regulations, maintains accurate documentation, and supports cross‑functional teams to minimize delays.

Key responsibilities

• Track international shipments from origin to warehouse delivery, managing ISF filings, PO tracking, and last free day monitoring.
• Maintain shipment milestones such as ETA, port arrival, customs clearance, and warehouse receipt in SAP/ERP systems.
• Collaborate with steamship lines, carriers, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure efficient cargo movement.
• Monitor FDA examinations, holds, and import alerts; communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and customs brokers to resolve detained or non‑compliant inventory.
• Review and validate commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Analysis, and other regulatory documents before ERP processing.
• Maintain organized records of customs entries, FDA filings, and shipment documentation.

Required profile

• Proactive information monitoring and issue management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication with carriers, customs brokers, QA, and warehouse teams.
• Capacity to support multiple stakeholders within the supply chain.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP) for shipment data management.
