Import Material Planner (Manufacturing Planner)

About the role

Techtronic Industries (TTI), which owns brands such as Milwaukee, AEG, Ryobi, Homelite, Hoover, Dirt Devil and Vax, is hiring an Import Material Planner for its Anderson, SC office. The role supports finished goods planning from an international facility, analyzes business processes and manages inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate production resources for products of low to moderate complexity to meet the Master Production Schedule and customer orders.
• Resolve manufacturing resource and material availability issues affecting the schedule.
• Review ERP signal Plan Orders and priorities for creating work orders and allocate materials.
• Prepare weekly schedules aligned with the MPS plan, including starting and completing manufacturing.
• Communicate production priorities and follow up as needed, supporting the team to meet the schedule attainment target.
• Review planning parameters quarterly (safety stock, lot size, MOQ).
• Meet key planning KPIs such as Attainment to Schedule, Schedule Attainment, Master Plan Attainment and Work Order Aging.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; at least 2 years of work experience with MPS/MRP in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management and Chinese counterparts.
• Team player, self-motivated, able to prioritize workload and read technical drawings and procedures.
• Supply Chain certification (APICS) desirable.

Required skills

• Computer literacy: Excel is a must, Word and PowerPoint.
• ERP system experience (SAP, Windchill Doc) desired.
