Hybrid Faculty – Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

About the role

Franklin Pierce University seeks a full‑time, 12‑month hybrid faculty member for its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in Goodyear, AZ. Reporting to the Director of the DPT Program, the faculty member will help shape the next generation of physical therapists through curriculum development, teaching, student mentorship, and clinical education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and assess DPT curriculum.
• Advise and mentor students.
• Provide leadership in university and professional service.
• Engage in community outreach and scholarly activities.
• Potentially serve as a lab instructor or teach course modules.
• Assist in Clinical Education as part of the administrative workload.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree preferred (Ph.D., Ed.D., D.Sc.).
• Certification (NCS, PCS) and experience in Neurological Physical Therapy.
• Physical Therapy licensure in Arizona or eligibility within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated effective teaching in academia or clinical settings.
• Expertise in outpatient neurologic care and vestibular condition management.
• Experience across the continuum of neurologic care; pediatric experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for university‑related purposes if required.
