About the role

The HVTI International Care Coordinator manages intake and care coordination for international patients seeking treatment at the Heart & Vascular Institute. The role serves as the first point of contact, handling medical record collection, scheduling consultations, and ensuring smooth integration into care pathways.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate intake for surgical candidates, obtaining clinical information and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate continuity of care with PCPs, referring physicians, cardiology staff, surgeons, and scheduling officers.
  • Review clinic information with surgeons to schedule appropriate pre‑surgical tests and appointments.
  • Coordinate patient care between medical and surgical departments and manage hospital transfers.
  • Communicate care expectations to Global Patient Services and identify Physician Champions.

Required profile

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • At least 4 years of experience in medical cardiology or cardiac surgery clinical areas.
