HVAC Sales/Estimator

About the role

The HVAC Sales/Estimator develops new business, maintains customer relationships, and prepares accurate, profitable estimates and proposals for HVAC service, replacement, installation, retrofit, and related projects. The role acts as the primary link between customers and service/installation teams, ensuring clear communication of scope, pricing, timelines, and expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through client acquisition, referrals, industry relationships, and existing customer engagement.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and profitable estimates for HVAC service, replacement, installation, retrofit, and related projects.
• Present estimates and proposals to customers, clearly explaining recommended solutions and following up in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure required equipment, tools, parts, and materials are available when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; several years of proven HVAC sales, estimating, service, installation, or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel to customer locations, service sites, and job sites.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and applications.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, service information, and project requirements.
