HVAC Project Installer – Commercial Mechanical Contractor

About the role

The HVAC Project Installer joins a leading commercial mechanical contractor to support the installation of HVAC systems and building envelope components on complex projects. You will work on‑site in High Point, NC, collaborating with skilled trades to deliver high‑quality, safe installations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of metal insulated panels, ductwork, and roofing systems.
• Support bending, fitting, and mounting of metal flashing and structural components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide work.
• Measure, align, and assemble materials with precision.
• Communicate any plan or material discrepancies to team leads.
• Help with duct layout preparation and equipment rigging using proper signals and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site while adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with multiple trades to ensure timely project completion.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of construction, HVAC, or sheet‑metal experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC airflow concepts (supply, return, exhaust).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and follow safety protocols.
