Director, Project Operations

About the role

The Director of Project Operations leads Envirotrol’s Service Project businesses across North and South Carolina, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, financial performance, and strategic growth. This senior leader partners with Sales, Service, Estimating, and Executive teams to drive profitability, operational excellence, and scalable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for Service Project Operations across all branches.
• Direct and support Project Managers, Estimators, and field resources throughout the project lifecycle, from pre‑bid to closeout.
• Establish and enforce project management best practices and create Centers of Excellence.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain responsibility for operating income, gross margin, cash flow, backlog growth, and labor productivity.
• Lead monthly Cost‑to‑Complete reviews, forecasting, billing, and collections.
• Develop scalable project management infrastructure and partner with branch leadership to build capabilities.
