HVAC & Controls Systems Manager

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is looking for an experienced HVAC & Controls Systems Manager to lead the campus utility systems team. This position is based in Little Rock, Arkansas and reports to the Operations department within Campus Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of HVAC and building control systems across the UAMS campus.
• Manage a team of technicians and contractors to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and respond to system emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, university policies, and industry standards.
• Develop and monitor budgets for equipment, parts, and labor.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in managing HVAC and control systems in a large facility or campus environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff.
