HVAC Adjunct Faculty (Part‑Time)

About the role

Savannah Technical College is seeking a part‑time HVAC Adjunct Faculty to join its Air Conditioning Technology program. The instructor will teach students in classroom, laboratory, and construction environments on the Savannah or Liberty campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and program syllabi for the Air Conditioning Technology curriculum.
• Deliver classroom instruction, live laboratory demonstrations, and on‑site construction training.
• Assess student progress and maintain required documentation and reports.
• Ensure safety and security standards in classroom, lab, and field environments.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and program certification requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree in Air Conditioning Technology with at least 2 years of HVAC work experience, or 5 years of documented HVAC experience.
• Current EPA Section 608 certification.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in classroom, laboratory, and construction settings and lift up to 50 lb.
