Human Resources Generalist (Part‑Time)

About the role

Water for Good is seeking a part‑time Human Resources Generalist to support its headquarters in Bentonville, AR. This on‑site role will provide day‑to‑day HR services across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations for the U.S. team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for all U.S. positions.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding to deliver a seamless employee experience.
• Maintain accurate personnel records in the HRIS.
• Process bi‑monthly payroll, handling timekeeping, deductions, and wage adjustments.
• Administer benefit open enrollment and respond to employee benefit inquiries.
• Facilitate performance evaluations and communicate clear expectations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Support supervisors in applying HR policies and procedures.
• Draft and distribute HR communications, updates, and handbook revisions.
• Assist culture, recognition, and engagement initiatives under guidance of the Chief People Officer.
• Perform general HR administrative tasks such as calendar management, meeting scheduling, and reporting.

Required profile

• Passion for Water for Good’s mission of providing safe water, sanitation and hygiene.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication or a related field.
• At least 2 years of HR experience.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. employment laws and sound judgment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR).
• Familiarity with project‑management tools such as Asana.
