HR Generalist / HR Specialist – Employee Relations, Leave & Benefits, Internal Communications

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level HR Generalist/HR Specialist to support day‑to‑day HR operations for our corporate headquarters and multi‑state workforce. The role bridges management and employees, handling employee relations, leave administration, benefits, and internal communications across U.S. offices.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a key link between management and employees, resolve work‑related issues, and advise on policy, EEO, and workplace conduct.
• Administer HRIS/payroll data (ADP Workforce Now, Workday), manage benefits, and oversee all U.S. leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws.
• Lead the ADA interactive process, coordinate reasonable accommodations, and act as liaison with third‑party leave administrators.
• Develop and publish internal communications such as intranet posts, newsletters, and digital signage to support employee engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• 3–7 years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years for specialized leave/benefits roles.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now or comparable HRIS.
• Proficiency in Workday for leave and payroll administration.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
