Human Resources Director

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and hands‑on Human Resources Director to lead HR functions across eight manufacturing plants. You will balance big‑picture strategy with day‑to‑day execution, driving people development, process improvement, and measurable results in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Plant HR Managers, overseeing performance, development, and resource planning.
• Provide strategic HR support to Global Operations, aligning initiatives with the Annual Operating Plan and growth targets.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on culture, communication, and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Champion an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace that enhances employee relations and talent retention.
• Monitor HR KPIs such as utilization, productivity, headcount, overtime, turnover, and absenteeism.
• Collaborate with global HR, shared services, and talent acquisition to execute company‑wide HR programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• HR professional certification strongly preferred (e.g., GPHS, SPHR, PHR, SHRM‑CP).
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws (NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA).
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale HR programs focused on organizational effectiveness, talent development, and employee value proposition.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
