Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Hilton Milwaukee is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR needs of its historic convention hotel and related venues. In this role you will act as a trusted resource for associates and leaders, ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR support and guidance to associates and managers while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment: source candidates, coordinate interviews, prepare offers and oversee onboarding.
• Coordinate new‑hire orientation and onboarding programs to promote a positive experience.
• Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and process transactions in PeopleSoft, Taleo, payroll and other HR systems.
• Assist with benefits administration, leave processing, compliance initiatives and training coordination.
• Organize engagement, recognition and culture‑building activities to strengthen workplace experience.
• Support labor‑relations activities, collective bargaining processes and HR compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports, maintain HR documentation and contribute to departmental projects.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
• High level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
• Experience supporting the full associate lifecycle in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver excellent internal service.
