Human Resources Business Partner – Contract

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner for Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, influencing business decisions and delivering HR solutions that support performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Establish robust partnerships with leaders to influence strategic planning and develop people‑strategy solutions.
• Provide counsel on complex people matters such as organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness.
• Lead employee‑relations activities, including investigations, focus groups, exit interviews and engagement surveys.
• Drive change‑management initiatives and translate business requirements into scalable HR programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in a Center of Excellence or generalist role.
• 3+ years experience in aerospace or a multi‑functional international environment (preferred).
• PHR or SHRM‑CP certification strongly desired.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS tools such as ADP, Workday or SAP.
