HRIS Specialist

About the role

The HRIS Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for Pleasant Valley Corporation’s Human Resources Information System, ensuring effective utilization, support, and maintenance across the Shared Services division.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the HRIS, including design, configuration, implementation, upgrades, and workflow development.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to HRIS users.
• Partner with HR, IT, and vendors to manage system interfaces, user access, security, data integrity, and compliance.
• Develop complex reports, dashboards, and data summaries for leadership and prepare annual compliance filings such as EEO‑1, VETS‑100, and ACA.
• Identify and implement process improvements, create training resources, and stay current on HRIS best practices.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration preferred, or 3‑5 years without a degree.
• At least one year supporting an HR department with demonstrated contributions.
• Minimum one year of hands‑on experience with an HRIS application and related software.
• SHRM‑CP certification preferred.
