HR Specialist – Omaha Branch Liaison

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to serve as the Omaha Branch Liaison. In this position you will provide comprehensive HR support to the Omaha branch, champion employee engagement, and represent the 10th District in system‑wide initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for branch managers and staff, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.
• Coordinate and deliver branch‑focused and district‑wide employee engagement programs and events.
• Consult on cross‑district HR initiatives, gathering feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Federal Reserve HR policies, benefits, and wellness programs.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to influence HR strategy from the branch perspective.
• Manage project scopes, timelines, and deliverables while recommending process improvements.
• Handle confidential HR matters with professionalism and discretion.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a large or governmental organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong relationship‑management and consulting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functional teams.
