HR Recruiter – Construction & Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Recruiter to support a construction‑focused organization in Denver. The role is contract‑based, primarily remote, with occasional on‑site meetings, and will drive high‑volume hiring for engineering, project management, superintendent and other entry‑ to mid‑level positions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage candidate pipelines for energy, infrastructure, engineering and field‑leadership roles.
• Source candidates through direct outreach, networking and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Conduct initial screenings to evaluate experience, interest and fit before forwarding talent to hiring teams.
• Maintain consistent outreach, timely follow‑up and organized tracking of high‑volume requisitions.
• Partner with recruiting leaders and hiring managers to align sourcing strategies with market conditions.
• Target both entry‑level and hard‑to‑fill positions, employing proactive headhunting techniques.
• Record all activity and candidate data in the applicant tracking system and related platforms.
• Support multiple business areas and sustain progress during peak hiring periods.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of recruiting or sourcing experience in corporate, agency or search environments.
• Proven success in direct sourcing, headhunting or sales‑driven recruiting.
• Experience recruiting for construction, engineering, infrastructure or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage a high volume of open positions with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and relationship‑building ability with candidates and hiring teams.
