HR Generalist

About the role

The HR team is seeking an organized, collaborative HR Generalist to support employees and leadership through recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting activities, job postings, interview scheduling and hiring support.
• Process full‑cycle payroll and administer employee benefits, leave, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate confidential personnel records and HRIS data, and prepare HR reports.
• Support employee relations, performance management, investigations and terminations under direction of the Chief People Officer.
• Participate in employee recognition programs, safety and training initiatives, and compliance with federal and Washington employment laws.

Required profile

• At least three years of human resources experience, preferably across multiple HR functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management or related field preferred.
• Ability to pass Washington State Patrol background check.
• Strong communication, judgment, confidentiality and ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with payroll processing and ability to learn HRIS, payroll and applicant tracking systems.
