HR Business Partner – Employee Experience & Talent Management

About the role

The HR Business Partner joins Amazon's People eXperience and Technology (PXT) team to support a large hourly workforce and business leaders. You will drive talent management, employee engagement, and operational excellence through data‑driven insights and strategic partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify systemic patterns, address root causes, and make high‑judgment decisions that align with policy while minimizing risk.
• Develop and monitor employee engagement and recognition programs, maintaining a strong floor presence.
• Coach leaders on performance feedback, team development, and complex employee relations matters.
• Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement.
• Drive adoption of HR technology, AI, and self‑service tools while preserving high‑touch service for critical moments.
• Use data analytics to spot trends, predict challenges, and implement proactive site‑level solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR generalist or business partner supporting hourly employees.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable initiatives.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to build trust with leaders and employees.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and building high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Experience with HR technology platforms and data analytics tools.
