Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

ACCIONA seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations in a unionized manufacturing environment, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant facility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces.
• Monitor cleanliness levels, address deficiencies promptly, and ensure tasks follow approved schedules and quality standards.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision of housekeeping staff in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, assigning tasks, tracking attendance, and handling performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or maintenance needs.
• Use computerized systems to track schedules, inspections, attendance, and supply usage, and prepare basic performance reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
• Experience supervising housekeeping staff in a unionized, manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work closely with management, union representatives, and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using facility management or computerized scheduling systems.
