About the role
Holiday Inn Garland is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room attendants, housemen, and public‑area cleaning.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure brand standards are met.
- Assign daily work boards, monitor room status, and coordinate with the front desk.
- Train, coach, and retrain team members on cleaning procedures and productivity expectations.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and supply shortages promptly.
- Support the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, task follow‑up, and shift coverage.
Required profile
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience (required) and supervisory experience (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle multiple priorities and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift throughout the shift.
