Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager leads the cleaning team at a Marriott‑branded hotel, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. This full‑time, onsite position reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve high performance and morale.
• Create and manage daily room assignments using the Quore tablet system.
• Complete and submit the Daily Housekeeping Manager Checklist in Quore.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings to communicate priorities, special requests, and goals.
• Perform daily inspections of rooms and public areas to verify quality and compliance with Marriott standards.
• Monitor productivity and quality indicators through Quore.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Ensure proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment and coordinate with the Maintenance department for any repairs.
• Log and track maintenance work orders and issues via Quore.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a housekeeping team in a hotel environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to interact with the General Manager, Front Desk, and Maintenance teams.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and teamwork‑focused work environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Quore housekeeping management software.
