About the role

Join the hospitality team at The Lofton Hotel in downtown Minneapolis as a Dishwasher. You will help maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the hotel’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Unload the machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to the proper kitchen areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and general cleaning tasks.
• Sweep, mop, and dry floors to ensure safety, and transport soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for service, anticipate event order needs, and perform additional assigned duties.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; experience in fast‑food, stewarding, food service, restaurants, or housekeeping is helpful.
• Ability to tolerate varied working conditions and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 lbs, and pushing up to 150 lbs.
• Comfort working in fast‑paced, noisy, and potentially confining environments and changing activities quickly.
• Flexible schedule availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
