Housekeeper – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Housekeeper to join the team at Glenmere Mansion, a premier luxury hotel in Chester, New York. You will be responsible for maintaining immaculate guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every guest experiences a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain guest rooms and common areas according to established service standards, including make‑ups, turndowns, and full turnovers.
• Remove trash, handle laundry, and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and eating areas with precision.
• Dust, vacuum, and refresh all accommodations and shared spaces to uphold a pristine environment.
• Make beds with fresh linens, replenish toiletries and other guest amenities.
• Conduct daily inventory checks, load supplies efficiently, and restock housekeeping closets.
• Support laundry operations by gathering, transporting, folding, storing, and delivering linens.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of department spaces such as laundry facilities, break rooms, and offices.
• Report maintenance issues, missing inventory, or damage promptly to supervisors.
• Respond quickly to changing guest needs while maintaining service excellence.
