Hotel Manager – Boutique Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Hotel Manager to lead the reopening of a 51‑room beachfront boutique resort on a private island in Christiansted Harbor. You will work side‑by‑side with a close‑knit team, ensuring a seamless guest experience and driving the property’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
• Lead, schedule, and mentor a small team, stepping in hands‑on wherever needed.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, and vendor/supplier relationships.
• Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and resolve issues personally.
• Coordinate island logistics, including water‑taxi operations and supply deliveries.
• Support the property through its post‑renovation reopening and ongoing growth.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and daily operations independently.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Comfortable working on a small island property with water‑taxi access.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
