Lead Bartender

About the role

Our Lead Bartenders help turn a carefully planned event into a smooth, polished, unforgettable experience. You will provide leadership for Liquid Catering, the mobile bartending division, ensuring every shift runs efficiently and guests feel welcomed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead off‑site event shifts from setup through breakdown, acting as the event captain.
• Supervise bartenders and support staff, delegating tasks and maintaining service standards.
• Ensure bar inventory, tools, mixers and supplies are ready before events and accounted for afterward.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment safely and on time.
• Pour beer, wine, cocktails and non‑alcoholic drinks accurately and according to company recipes.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption, check IDs and handle intoxicated behavior per policy.
• Balance cash and credit card transactions, complete digital recaps and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years bartending experience with ability to make basic cocktails.
• Comfortable supporting event duties such as setup, food service, dishwashing and guest entry tasks.
• Dependable, hardworking and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, physically active environment.
• Willingness to follow alcohol‑service policies and applicable laws.
• Ability to work frequent evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.
