About the role

We are seeking a reliable Hotel Houseperson to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express in Middletown, RI. The role focuses on maintaining clean public spaces, supporting housekeeping operations, and providing shuttle service during night shifts and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Keep public areas, hallways, corridors, and exterior spaces clean and well‑presented.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, trash removal, and light maintenance.
• Assist housekeeping and laundry teams as needed.
• Respond to guest requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Drive the hotel shuttle van, ensuring safe transport for guests (valid driver’s license required).

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a shuttle van.
• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Flexible availability for night shifts and weekends; must be 25 years or older.
• Dependable, team‑oriented attitude with a positive outlook.
