Hotel Guest Services / Front Desk

About the role

This part‑time position supports the front desk of the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Hartford Airport, working Friday third shift (11 PM‑7 AM) and occasional first or second shifts. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, check‑outs and ensuring a smooth, memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and perform check‑in/check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Manage room assignments, keys, reservations and process payments accurately.
• Address guest inquiries, requests and concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, maintain a clean front desk area and uphold security standards.
• Assist with concierge tasks and provide local recommendations.

Required profile

• Previous hotel experience required; Marriott experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel PMS systems.
