Front Desk Supervisor

About the role

The Fairfield Inn & Suites at Hartford Airport is seeking a motivated Front Desk Supervisor to lead the front desk team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support front desk staff to maintain high service standards.
• Manage daily front desk operations including check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservations.
• Train and mentor team members, handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to front desk activities and ensure compliance with hotel policies.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel front desk role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management software such as OPERA or Fidelio.
