About the role

The General Manager leads the Residence Inn Roanoke Airport to achieve financial targets, uphold brand standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This senior leadership position oversees all hotel functions, from operations and sales to human resources and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor profitability through monthly P&L analysis and initiate corrective actions.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, cost controls, and inventory matrices.
• Lead sales initiatives, revenue management calls, and weekly forecasting.
• Create and execute the annual marketing plan and ensure brand quality assurance compliance.
• Maintain safety standards, monitor customer service scores, and address deficiencies.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance reviews, and progressive discipline for all staff.
• Foster a positive, professional work environment and promote diversity and inclusion.
• Provide accurate financial and operational data to corporate office and respond to inquiries.
• Participate in capital improvement projects and special assignments as needed.
