Host/Hostess – Front of House (Aspen)

About the role

As the first and last point of contact for guests at LoLa 41 in Aspen, you will set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. You will manage the flow of the dining room, welcome guests warmly, and coordinate with the service and management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm and professional first impression for every guest.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments accurately.
• Coordinate the overall pace and flow of the dining room and bar.
• Answer phones, take messages, and assist with takeout orders.
• Provide clear and friendly communication to guests at all times.
• Support service team members and handle guest requests efficiently.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness at the host stand.
• Uphold LoLa 41’s service standards and policies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Calm, organized, and professional under pressure.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to stand and move for 6–10 hour shifts.
• Reliable commute or plan to relocate to Aspen, CO.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation systems (Resy) – a plus.
