Hospitality Service Worker – Part‑time (4 positions)

About the role

The Student Life Centre at Cambrian College is seeking four part‑time Hospitality Service Workers to join the team for 24 hours per week. You will support daily food service operations, ensuring meals are prepared and served to students and visitors with quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to a pre‑planned menu and assemble daily food specials.
• Provide courteous, prompt, and efficient service to customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and cash balances.
• Uphold cleaning, maintenance, and sanitary standards throughout the service area.

Required profile

• Secondary School Diploma.
• Food Handling and Smart Serve certifications (copies required).
• At least one year of experience in a restaurant, banquet or institutional food service setting, handling both large‑scale and small‑scale meal preparation.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• Professional demeanor and ability to multitask while paying attention to detail.
