Hospital Medicine Nocturnist – Overnight Physician

About the role

Join a dedicated team of physicians at Texas Health Presbyterian Flower Mound as a Hospital Medicine Nocturnist. You will provide high‑quality inpatient care during overnight hours, supporting an open ICU environment with on‑call intensivist backup.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 9‑12 admissions per night and respond to 10‑15 cross‑coverage calls.
• Deliver comprehensive patient care in an open ICU setting without performing procedures or code runs.
• Collaborate with a team of 8 physicians, an advanced practice provider, and nursing staff.
• Maintain documentation and communication with daytime teams for seamless transitions.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule (7‑night‑on, 7‑night‑off, 12‑hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am).
• Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional patient care.
