Hospital Maintenance Technician (Full Time)

About the role
The Hospital Maintenance Technician ensures that the facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors. Working on‑site at the San Diego campus, you will handle routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and support special events.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general building repairs and routine maintenance.
- Maintain grounds, including landscaping and exterior upkeep.
- Address plumbing and electrical issues promptly.
- Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special functions.
- Respond quickly to alarms, emergency codes, and safety incidents.
- Conduct facility cleaning and uphold infection‑control standards.
- Follow the hospital’s safety, security, and infection‑control programs.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air‑conditioning systems.
- Ability to repair and maintain a variety of machinery and equipment.
