Hospice CNA PRN

About the role

Hospice of Midland, a hospice serving the Permian Basin since 1981, is looking for a compassionate CNA to work as a Hospice Aide on a PRN basis. The Hospice Aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provides care to meet patients' personal needs and promote comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform various services for patients as needed to meet their personal needs and promote comfort
• Observe patients, report observations and document them along with the care provided
• Be assigned in a way that promotes quality, continuity and safety of patient care

Required profile

• At least one year of hands-on experience as a CNA for PRN positions
• Availability during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, within 6 AM to 5 PM
