Home Health Aide – Personal Care & Companion

About the role

Join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide and provide compassionate personal care and companionship to adults living at home. You will follow a nurse‑written care plan to help clients stay safe, independent, and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Guide range‑of‑motion exercises and other prescribed activities.
• Support ambulation and transfers, using mechanical lifting devices when needed.
• Offer medication reminders and other companion services.

Required profile

• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Commitment to present, quality, and reliable care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Willingness to deliver care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
• Previous home health or patient‑care experience is welcomed but not required; training will be provided.
