Home Health Aide – Pediatrics

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide one‑on‑one personal care for special‑needs children in the Philadelphia suburbs. You will work in home or school settings, supported by a 24‑hour nursing management team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support mobility with transfers, ambulation, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Conduct vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration) and range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Provide medication assistance and basic nail care.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of personal‑care experience in a supervised setting, OR a certificate of at least 75 hours of home‑health‑aide training, OR a current CNA license in good standing, OR completion of a medical‑surgical clinical rotation in nursing school.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
