Home Health Aide – Direct Care Worker

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Home Health Aides (Direct Care Workers) to provide compassionate care to adult clients in the Williamsport area. No prior experience is required; you will receive a free two‑day training program followed by on‑site clinical skills practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support mobility through ambulation assistance, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Conduct range‑of‑motion exercises and monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Provide medication assistance and basic nail care.

Required profile

• Successfully complete BAYADA’s Direct Care Worker training course.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel short distances to client homes.

Required skills

• Basic personal care and hygiene skills.
• Ability to follow regulatory and compliance guidelines taught in training.
