Caregiver / Direct Support Professional

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to work one‑on‑one with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. The role involves providing personal care, companionship, and support in home and community settings across Williamsport and nearby areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as dressing, grooming, and basic hygiene.
• Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and community activities.
• Engage clients in their favorite hobbies and recreational activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, including meal preparation.
• Support community integration and participation in social events.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience working with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
